this is kind of outdated already, haha, but heres my new main! and the first time in a long time that im making one of my characters public, ahheh... toyhou.se/10936978.fortunei love him a whole lot!!!
his name is fortune, and hes trying to get his tv show off the ground- the WHEEL! OF! FORTUNE! ... but, like, not THAT one. its different, its better- and its actually about wheels, unlike that wretched (trademarked) show!
hes been cursed to be haunted by wheels, everything circular he touches turns into a magic wheel which, when spun, will provide rewards or punishments... so you might get millions of dollars, or you might have a limb fall off, orrrr fortune might kill you so bad. fortune doesnt LIKE hurting people, and he thinks that his show is, you know, mostly a bad thing, but he thinks that anyone who is willing to take the risk deserves what they get. anyways, he follows ideals about fate being predetermined, and that anything bad that the wheel does was going to happen to you at some point, so why whine about it happening now?
he used to be a normal guy, for 20 years, before all of this went down. troubled by psychosis, he was always shut off from the world and uninterested in making friends, too socially unaware and frightened of others to ever try... he was cursed at 20, and for the past 6 years has been locked in his studio basement, inviting people into his house to play the game.
fortune has TWO FORMS, waking world and fever dream mode, which he switches between usually by sleep or distress. generally, hes mild mannered, timid, and gently friendly, a nice kind television personality who does his best to focus on making an entertaining show before trying to hurt people. hes a bit awkward, and definitely reeks of insecurity, but he aspires to levelheadedness and helping others. however, he is often stricken by belligerence or euphoria, especially when uncomfortable. in his fever dream form, its like if you dialed all of his feelings to 12... hes exciteable, fidgetty, neurotic, and manic, more sure of his wheel and more ready to hurt others, just out of touch with reality. like smiling really big while he pushes you down the stairs kind of energy.
in his fever dream form, hes SUPPOSED to look black and white, like ideally the lines on him would be the same color as his hair and whatnot- except for his clothes, which stay the same color between forms. in his fever dream form, he changes colors with his feelings! you know, red= angry, yellow = happy, green = disgust, blue = sad, purple = exasperated, and pink = flustered.
