It's hard to conquer the worldwhen all you have is a song
stuck in your head and
no money in your wallet.
The frames of time flip from
one scene to the next,
paying no mind to the struggle
wrapped up in its' soiled sheets
as the masses tumble around in them.
You and I...me and you...
We're both caught like all the others -
twisted in the coils of time,
with no idea of an easier future...
no hope of change for the better.
Still...
Do you also see that tiny sliver of light
trickling in through the back window?
