oblivion since we last
mirrored one another?
You look tired.
Those bags won't carry the
groceries in, I'm sure.
Still, your eyes are the same -
muddy pond water shimmering with life.
You've aged too.
Fine lines on your face tell
tales of laughter -
no doubt a smile or two has
left its mark.
Slivers of silver now
sprout from your fine mane.
Do they mean you've grown wiser?
Who's to say we have changed?
Your curves are less curvy,
but no need to worry -
frivolity and plentiful moments simply
filled them in a little.
All in all, I'd say
not too shabby...
It's important to be kind to yourself,
