Dwayne McDuffie's facebook page has been more active with recent events. I remember watching Static Shock and so many episodes were so relatable they made me cry. So I had to do something involving Static Shock. I needed to do something with all the pain inside me.
Black Lives Matter isn't a political statement. It doesn't mean other lives don't matter. It means we need to be treated like we matter. People of Colour have spent too long being told we are ugly, being told we are dirty, being told we are dumb, being told we are criminals, being hurt, being killed... we are done.
