At night there was a flash in the sky, illuminating the whole tree and its great roots with light. The shooting star burned as brightly as the second sun. Approaching the earth, the star went out. There was a strong rumble, and the Star landed on the edge of the forest near the hill.

The area around the fallen Star perished with it. So there was a dead zone. Many dragons began to explore that place, but instead of new knowledge, they received a Star Curse. The dead star cursed everything around her. Those who returned from there soon fell ill with an unknown disease. The disease claimed the lives of the strongest and most promising.

It wasn't the only horror. Soon their Tree began to die, gradually replacing its living wood with lifeless Amber. So the Amber Tree appeared. Many dragons, who lost loved ones from illness, immured their feathers in the Amber of their dying tree. After many years, only an amber shell remained of the tree.
