Mixing numbers 2 and 3; this creature also has a strange lower jaw, that can be extended and retracted. This allows a Metaboan to work its jaw slowly over large objects, while simply engulfing smaller ones. The wing, which is used for gliding and not powered flight, can be curled in on itself and tucked safely behind the elbow.
