I hadn't drawn Ace in a while! 8I~ last time I attempted was back in the Proto Killing Floor AU when I tried to splice his character with the Hans Volter boss from the KF2 game. Which... suffice to say didn't work out.

After chatting about it with the babe TheDexterminator he egged me on to draw Ace in more casual clothing. He's always been supremely fun to draw but kinda hard to master. Though in this case, I think I nailed it!

So uh... bitta context for the out of context quote: I actually had been sitting on the idea of Ace interacting in some way with some of my domestic OCs. (he's already intimately interacted with one, but that's for another picture and a bit more how you say... class... to talk about that altogether...) I had the idea since he was released from rehab and the interviewer saying, "Is he really rehabilitated or is he gonna try and rob a store with panty hose over his head again?"

And my thought was, he'd absolutely rob stores and resort to petty crime, considering he's pretty self centered and selfish all around. Especially if he attempted legitimately to do something to try and mingle back into society and fail, and just assume that because he's so used to being a self centered prick, he'd keep it up. He'll keep up the good boy routine until he'd find a chance to rob a small convenience store... or in his case, a coffee shop run by a fat barista and his boxing brother and baking sister.

There was a different version of this with him wearing purple instead buuuuut, red suits his bad attitude too much.
