Bad news

I guess I must be weird. Getting pulled out of class by the principle was usually never a good thing but secretly I always wanted someone to get me out of class. (As long as it meant I wouldn’t have to listen to the teacher for that short period of time) I was the same way with doctor appointments. Having epilepsy, I had to take a lot of trips to the doctor’s office. Now the appointments themselves I didn’t care for (though you stop being afraid of needles pretty fast after getting your blood drawn almost constantly) But it meant that I got to miss the first half of school and mom would usually get me lunch afterward.

I really hated doing this to Jo (no one should have to lose either parent this young.) But it was necessary for several reasons that will come up later. Also, even though she’s gone Jade’s story is far from over. And just for the record, my mom is perfectly fine and still goes on motorcycle trips with my dad.
