It is not really a good example of photo realism, but it is an exalent example of emotionalism. you give the tree and its surroundings feeilngs. Might keep an eye on that, that way if an instructor says something about a creation you don't agree with if you can point out that you decided to be more emotional or something like that you might get brownie points.
Art instructor are some type of human, don't ask me what.
