"I left my pelagic brothers and sisters, seeking the still depths of the black ocean deep. Away from the angry rays of the sun I finally found a calm intense enough to quell my uneasy heart. The wise hermetic fish there were as clear as glass- as if yearning to desolve into the sea water itself. I followed their guidance"-----

I wanted to see how a human[oid] would look as a transparent deep sea fish type thing. I really like fish head scales, and used those inplace of a skull. I had no idea how I'd go about doing that but I am very happy how this turned out, for once.
This is actually a shapeshifter person from a new storything/idea I'm thinking of.

Dood. That's freaky. I've never seen someone approach that subject before, and I'm really impressed. I would suggest including some organs, but you've already done so much work. XD Maybe on a later date.

Totally valid point- I *had* rendered some guts, but after awhile they were lost until they're just vaguely pink areas, and I didn't have a way to fix it. I could've found a way but I'm lazy I guess XD

i really like your idea. though, i'm not sure if its suppose to be that way, but the head looks not round, but straight onto the back.

This is a really wonderful image, maybe one of my favourite paintings of yours. I have always loved the denizens of the deep, and I've never really imagined a mermaid to be among them.... fantastic concept.

Why do you come up with THE best concepts ever? This guy's so cool, I love phosphorescent deep sea critters, but it's genius that you thought to make a character out of that. Plus it's beautifully done, and the lower half of his torso looks like a photograph. Do moooooar!
