i think i'm done with it!
you know that stage where every thing you change seems to add noting more to the whole work? yep, time to call it officially finished, lol.
anyway, i've been wanting to draw Dawn for so long, but not re-drawing a Linsner piece... then when ~brokenpuppy posted just2 i finally decided to go ahead. thanks so much for allowing me to reference from your picture dear.
hope you all like it as much as i enjoyed to draw it.

stunning! so beautifully done and so many good points to point out, but I just can't get over those eyes (well eye anyway!).
The glossyness and colours are stunning, but the iris is so f'n detailed!! Can't wait to see the close up.

Brilliant work! You put Advanced Critique Encouraged but I really cant give any. The eyes are the best part which is really magical. I just dont know though how you did all those individual strands of hair, but this is really impressive. Also love the freckles and eyebrows!

glad you pointed the eye because it was the result of the work on it (specially the iris) that encouraged me to go ahead with this project... otherwise it would have been forgotten like the several other started and never finished pieces...
some of the sparks are flat shapes, some are set to variable values of opacity (lenses) in normal or multiply mode... sort of a crazy combination.
