omg! after about 120 hours over 10 days i've got to finish my entry for the *girltripped contest.
so much fun to draw this, specially for the winter lips, the key, pearls... well, everything in this picture is inspiring
thank you so much winter and wolf for the reference, you both are awesome. i'll sure draw more of your pictures, if you allow me of course. hope you like this one.

Amei como vc definiu tão bem as pérolas com mais nitidês, do que as perolas mais atrás, ficou muito real, aliás, vc consegue deixar tão real os desenhos e mesmo assim não perde a característica de ser desenho, isso que eu mais gosto em vc!
A boca não vou nem comentar o absurdo de qualidade técnica que está, meus parabens pela paciência, talento e competência!

pois é, dessa vez foi um desafio deixar as pérolas fora de foco com um aspecto aceitável, ainda mais com o tempo curto... mas acho que deu certo. e gosto muito de desenhar olhos e bocas, então sempre procuro dar uma atenção especial à estas partes.
e a melhor coisa é quando alguém reconhece que, apesar de detalhados e até certo ponto realistas, meus desenhos são simplesmente "desenhos" e não tentativas de parecerem fotografias... é isso que eu busco pros meus trabalhos.

i love drawing lips, that's why i put so much effort on they. the pearls were a challenge though, specially the unfocused ones (i think i could have worked more on those pearls, if i had time enough)

Oh wow, another entry that I'm at a loss for words. How brilliant to make the pearls extend past the border... this is even more impressive than I thought it would be. How in the world you have the patience to create your art is beyond me; you must be a perfectionist.
Amazing, as you probably know.
Wolf is out at the moment but he was really looking forward to seeing this after he saw the detail shot, so I'll be sure to show him when he gets home.

hehe, you are right... i'm extremely perfectionist... probably i would take one or two weeks or even a month more to have it finished (adjusting a little bit here and there) if the deadline wasn't today.
glad you liked the extended over border pearls... i thought it would be nice to play a little with the focused pearls.
