wo0o00o0o0 i've made some tamagotchi adopts! each egg design is from the 1st gen, and these are all the characters from G1 too. was yours any of these??
i used to have the marutchi one! oyahatchi and bill's eggs were special asian releases btw!★ each tama is $3 each, please pay with paypal. i will upload the transparent backgrounded, animated tama for you to use. please link it back to my page so others can come and adopt their own! ★
i had great fun making these, so i'll be doing gen 2 and the angelgotchis. i will also be making pokemon ones and custom ones. any suggestions or questions, let me know..

Holy Shit.
I had a Tamagotchi, It was white and it had blue trimmings, (you did not incude that color spec C im very disappointed [kidding]).
My sister had a Dinki-Dino, which I think was far superior because the screen was bigger and the Dino could do more stuff.
Anyways my cousin told me if you removed the back cover and took the battery out and scratched the letter U on the PCB Board of the device , you would get a new type of moseter to grow.
I did it and broke my Tamagotchi.
That fucking bastard.

lololol sorry i missed that one out!! it's also in the 2nd gen, so it'll feature there.. yeah i always wanted a dinki dino too, they had cool evolutions, and i mean, dinosaurs were just the bomb at that age. i bought one here in nam, in dinki dino packaging. turned out being a fake tho.. doh! (everything is fake here

Oh man, this brings back so many memories! I didn't have one of these, but my first was a tamagotchi were you raised an egg that would eventually grow into a dinosaur after six days, six different types aswell if I'm not mistaken?
These must have taken quite some time to design, I have to say that you did an awesome job!

by any chance, was it a dinky dino ? that was a popular one at the time. on my quest to find a real tamagotchi, i came across these 2 . the left one was in digimon packaging, and the right one, in dinky dino packaging. sadly, both fake!! (cool chain tho) and thanks very much!!

Perhaps! I don't remeber it looking like that though, but it could be my memory, lol! I had the dino one and another tamagotchi were you could have several different kinds, like a chicken, dog, dinosaur, alien etc.
A shame they were fake though, they don't work at all? I hope you didn't pay through your nose to get them.

hehe, yeah, there sure was a lot of different ones about that's for sure. awesome! sounds like these ones. there's gotta be about 20 characters to pick from, i was quite surprised, and yeah they did work, but they have the pesky reset button on the front (the amount of times my bf accidentally reset his lol). they were very cheap, $3 and $1.50

Indeed, for a few years there was so many different tamagotchis, and nowadays they're all but extinct, lol.

exaaactly why i made these haha! i live in vietnam, so being in asia i thought i had a change at finding some. searched high and low, but alas, none. i did manage to pick up a couple of cheap, rip-off virtual pets, but they aint no real tama!!

Cool, Vietnam! Rip offs are just ok, but the real Tamagotchis are eternal! I found some on Amazon once but I think they were kind of expensive. What has this world come to?? Kids don't know what they're missing.

these are pixelated drawings of the handheld virtual pets called tamagotchis, made in japan and released worldwide through the 90s to the present day. you start with an egg which hatches, and depending on how you look after it, it evolves, until death. then you can restart the game. digimon in fact released their own virtual pets at the same time
