I've always had a fascination towards portraits, but rarely I find one capable of deserving a comment from me. They are quite often too common.
Not this one.
I found it by accident and it called to my attention due to the extraordinary sense of style in it. You've done it right. It looks like a true photo from early 1900's, The colour, the situation, the pose, the cigarette.
You achieved a natural believable style which stands out at a distance.
