On April 5th, 2019, renowned VOCALOID producer wowaka passed away, at the tragically young age of thirty-one years old.
Several artists are taking to social media to give their tributes, I wanted to contribute something as well, even if it isn't particularly deep or creative.
It's pretty rare that a death affects me - it's very hard for me to make the emotional connection to somebody I never knew. But wowaka's passing made me feel very uncomfortable and sad. His VOCALOID music had a very big impact on my teenage years. His songs like World's End Dancehall, Rolling Girl, Unhappy Refrain, and Doll of Building Blocks to name a few - will stay with me forever, and will always be very special to me.
