During his youth as a GORE MAGALA, Swart absorbed a Dragon Element from one of his preys -probably an Elder Dragon- strong enough to actually turn him with a Dragon Blight. Ever since, the Dragon element is burning inside of him and also turning him into a violent wreck. Attacking at sight and also constantly in search of food to actually survive the blight.

He reached adulthood, yet he wasn't fully a SHAGARU MAGALA. No golden scales, he stayed dark as the coldest night... Scars on his skin were glowing red everytime he was in a rage state, tearing up more and more: « That... HURTS !! »

Was the roar you could hear as he could go full strength against Hunters trying to get him down. He got himself a nice reputation of being the Dragon Eater... Or the Blood Moon Bringer. A sort of plague itself known as the RYUUTABE MAGALA.
More agressive than a SHAGARU MAGALA, Swart destroys anything and anyone entering his territory. Humans, small creatures, bigger wyverns and even other elder dragons. He developped a hate in particular towards other MAGALAS that he would try to destroy as soon as he spots them, despite young or old, showing cannibalistic trait as well.

When showing his rage state, his muscles expand up to almost double the current mass to the point of hurting himself as it rips off his skin, opening his old scars and that being similar to a DEVILJHO, while the virus inside him turns the atmosphere into a bloody red, even the moon getting turned into a beautiful crimson color.

While resting in his den, he'll let his virus out to infect all the creatures around him and his territory. It's also known as his way of breeding as the parasites eat up the creatures that are infected.
