It had been a couple of hours when the sun finally decided to reveal its grandeur and warm up the world like it was meant to. Hopefully the weather would stay nice.

The stallion was in his stable, cold temperature still too much for him, so instead he was enjoying munching on his hay in the warmth of the barn. Drogon had had some grass a little earlier on for hand grazing, but he needed a bit of more time to settle down. Josh would take him out in the later hours when it was quieter.

On the other hand, Beauty, the absolute beauty she is, was calmer than a blue sky on a sunny day. The mare was out in her assigned field enjoying the rich grass, a thin sheet still on to keep off the chill and any dirt she may find out of a different pocket world.

Josh plopped himself down onto the greenery, silently petting the polo pony while she munched along, his parents having already left. Of course, Josh’s dad had cried. Mum kept on saying “Keep it together! I should be the one doing that sh*t!” And then she went off too.

It was pretty funny actually.

Absently smiling to himself, Josh was enjoying the calm before the storm, school would start in a couple of days after everyone got used to stuff. Phone appearing in hand, Josh began scrolling through some social media platforms, looking at his mates worlds go by without him. Apart from one lad who was going to be staying with him. An old childhood buddy, they met a couple of times at Invictus Stud And Equine and became pretty good friends, so at least Josh wouldn’t have some random bunking with him.

“Hey Oz! The chica doing well?!”

And there was his bunk buddy. Speak of the devil.
