Just a quick comic done for fun. I'm not particularly a Light fan (L FTW!) but the oh-so-dramatic guestures in the anime were just begging to be made fun of.Done in Painter and Photoshop. Death Note characters belong to the creator.

I can totally imagine Ryuk saying that. Believe it or not, I'm laughing hysterically right now, despite how calm I seem in this comment.
I find myself similar to Light, yet more similar to L. My writing is quite flourished, and I am an honor roll student, but I can't live without sweets, I sit strangely, and I can spend long periods of time sitting in the dark in front of a computer...
Though that's true, I like Light more.

Actually, sexual arousal takes place in the same part of the brain as things like fear, anger, joy, food enjoyment, drug stimulus, music stimulus, etc..... Resulting in the same physical symptoms (dilated pupils, goosebumps, sweating, fast breathing). So if he was feeling particularly euphoric from that experience, then in a way, it would be kind of similar to sex....
Sorry. Found out about that when I was writing an essay regarding the effects of music on the brain, and immediately thought of this. I myself thought the gestures were pretty dramatic and awesome and all that, but then again, I'm easily impressed.

This brings up memories of Teru Mikami (the 4th "Kira"). I think Mikami-san actually did (and experienced) that outside the warehouse at the end. Of course, he also was screaming, "Delete!!" That was an awesome scene.
