FOUR DAYS it took me to draw this, and then I realized something horrible... I couldn't fit it on the scanner! So you can't see the entire thing, which is a bummer because I worked very hard on it.
I'm so proud of it, though!Stuff I used:

Ooooh yus, and they have dialogue and everything, which means they were probably meant to be recruited earlier in the game. If you leave Tali behind to protect Garrus during his mission, he'll say something like, "Just like old times, right?"

I was really surprised, but pleasantly so, that they let you have the relationships with the alien males and females to a larger degree. With such a wide variety of interesting races, it seems only fitting the option be open. I always figured Garrus would be head over heels for a female Shephard. All we need now is an Elcor romance option.
"[With Barely Contained Joy] Yes Shephard, I would love to join you in your room."

To be honest, I was kind of disappointed with the female romances. Jacob sounded like a rapist, Garrus seemed only to be interested in it for the sex, and Thane seemed to treat her like his wife. o__o I know that these characters are way deeper emotionally than what the romances make them out to be, so I guess I just wish we'd had longer times to talk with them and so forth, get their motivations.
Now the MALE romances... those are awesome. xDD

As for the male romances, Jack did nothing but cry if you waited until after Horizon to get with her, which made the whole scene really uncomfortable. Tali (my choice) was like "OMG I LOVE YOU AND I ALWAYS HAVE. SEX NOW?". I never got far enough with Miranda, Kelly, or Samara to find out with them. The second has it won for me just by the pure number of choices. Thane may have treated a female Shephard like his wife, but it seems clear enough that he was the most emotionally invested, for better or for worst. Jacob is practically professing his love for you the moment you speak with him.
"I like the get to know my crew. Any objections?"
"None at all, Commander. In fact, I love you and want to make sweet love to you by the fire"
"...We'll talk later, Jacob."

LOL! I thought Tali and Jack's romances were sweet, and Miranda's, too. I miss Kaidan--at least he had more dialogue!

A few sketches here and there, but nothing I'd call a finished product yet. I'm working on a portrait of Jack and Grunt right now, and I'd have it finished by now except that I was commissioned to create a martial arts-themed coloring book and it's taking up most of my artistic free time, LOL!

Btw, you mentioned that we can't see the entire drawing because it does not fit in the scanner. One work-around you can use, is to the a photography of it

Simply amazing. Just recently finished the game (after having it lay in front of my tv opened for almost two months.. due to having to re-beat ME1)
At any rate, I really enjoyed legion, he was not included in my squad, due to Garrus and Samara (soldier class here)
But the way they created the dialogue for him, as well as every other character was amazing, and a massive improvement from the first.
Anyway to the art. I LOVE the fact you did this by hand. The shading the anatomy of him. Too bad he has a huge hole in his chest that he didn't fix

Thanks so so much!!! I loved the game a ton, even more than the 1st one. The entire story is character-driven, and that's what I like the most about it I think. The only beef I have with the game is that, with all the interesting characters, locations, etc, we didn't get to explore their personalities more. The romance options for women are just frightening. o__o

The first one had some major flaws in it. But that's expected when you have a first in a series. I still enjoyed it regardless. I was amazed at how much they invested in the NPC's conversations. From snide little tidbits from Joker to Athethyta. (the bartender on Illium)
My favorite is the Asari/Turian couple in the Citadel Souvenir shop with the 'life span talk' heh.
I agree with the personality exploration. Especially with Garrus, Jacob, and Tali. After you finish the loyalty missions for Garrus and Jacob they stagnate and Garrus has a billion.. calibrations to do and Jacob just wants to party on the Citadel. Tali has a little more development due to the romance option (MaleShep btw not a fan of creating a FemShep) But even then it falls short.
And for the romance options I picked Tali for various reasons. Miranda to me seemed to be superficial with the 'I'm the perfect woman' spiel that she spouted out. Jack needs some anger management as well as some hair.
Tali was the best option in my opinion.
If Liara didn't radically change as she did, I'd take her back in an instant.
