The black sheep of her family, Akanthas rebellious personality always caused conflict with utopians authorities and her family. She became pregnant at a young age and eager to be a mother, but her older sister had other plans. Fed up with the lax punishments she gets for embarrassing the family, Akanthas sister, Ianthe, stole the baby Eudora as her sister slept and left the child to die in a box by the garbage. She later convicted her sister that her daughter had died in her sleep. A small funeral was held for Akanthas baby girl as her mother lived heartbroken for the next 25 years.
Ceph encourages Siren to visit the Anzarian city, where she unwillingly discovers her family. But most importantly, her mother.
