Recognize this little fellow?He really turned out OOC, didn't he? 8D
I've been wanting to draw him for a a while now and since I also wanted to join the fanart contest here it is.
My submission for DA-Anime 2011 Mini-contest summer theme.
Sesshoumaru has got to be my all time favorite Anime character, I was annoyed that they didn't show a child version of him in the show, he must have been so adorable! (Hey, they did with Inuyasha! *grumble)
This is actually inspired by one of Forthright's fanfics. She has a fanfic of Kagome going back in time and meets a young Sesshoumaru, its called Unspoiled. A really good read.
(Afterwards I just couldn't imagine Sesshy as a grumpy boy)

Done in Photoshop CS5.

I love Forthright's fanfics, and your child version of Sessh reminds me of Shota... Plus for once he looks happy. Also, i flat out agree with you about annoying * insert deep breath here* i-am-not-going-to-show-Sessh-as-a-child-cause-he's-not-a-main-character thing too. Lastly, your picture is lovely and kinda i-just-died-it-is-so-cute. Almost a nosebleed moment.
