– Aegis Tower Shield || What it can’t evade, it blocks. Talos’ primary defensive tool can take a beating as well as it can dish it back out through sheer blunt force. Capable of enduring not only physical forces, but treatments applied to the shield also allow it to withstand chemical and energy based assaults for a time as well. Usually carried in hand, it can also be mounted onto the back of the mech to serve as an extra layer of rear point defense when not in direct use. It also has an optional sheathing point for the Draco Heat Sword on the backside.
– Draco Heat Sword || The blade of the sword is made of a hardened thermally conductive material that can be heated to high temperatures in order to increase its cutting ability. Normally stored on Talos’ side skirt when not in use so that it can be kept at full charge.
– Scorpio Railgun || Talos’ only long ranged armament. The weapons default medium range ‘compact’ mode employs semiautomatic burst shots while its long range ‘deployed’ mode enables sniping by opening of the side foils to supercharge the railgun. In this configuration the range and velocity is dependent on how much charge is devoted to each shot. The weapon is stored across the back when not in use and extra ammo packs are kept on the side skirts as well as on the backside of the shield if needed.
– Ajax Autocannons || Very handy tools when up close and personal with the enemy to shred into exposed sensitive areas or equipment. A set of four internally mounted Gatling-style rotary cannons used as point-defense weapon systems. The two small cannons mounted in Talos’ crown are geared primarily to shoot down small, fast moving, and lightly armored targets such as missiles or small vehicles. The two heavier cannons mounted on Talos’ shoulders are concealed by small-scale multi-spectrum sensor arrays when not in use and are generally more effective against armored targets. The sensors will shift upwards to expose the cannons as they also assist with the targeting operations involved with its use.
