Here are two I would love to see face off! Space Godzilla and Mecha King Ghidorah, both worthy adversaries that gave Godzilla quite the run for his money. The story goes as follows:
After defeating (yes, defeating, bare with me) and nearly killing Godzilla, just as he had come to Earth to do, Spacegodzilla made his way further into Japan, leaving almost nothing standing in his wake. Meant to be kept a secret for quite some time, the JSDF found themselves left with no other options. After retrieving the body of King Ghidorah three years ago after being defeated by Godzilla and Mothra's combined forces, the Japanese government went to work creating their most powerful defense yet. A partially bionic King Ghidorah, complete with a mechanical replacement head to replace the one lost at the hands of Godzilla, mechanical wings, and a plated torso all equipped with advanced weaponry. Feeling that this was their best option of defense against Spacegodzilla, he was deployed and confronted Godzilla's evil space counterpart. The two battled, with Spacegodzilla gaining an upper hand, until a revived Godzilla (at the hands of the Japanese government taking quick action in giving him a boost of nuclear energy) arrived. Together, the two defeated the space monster and went their separate ways.
