The image was produced using diffusion-weighted magnetic resonance imaging tractography. Tractography generates sequences of tri-dimensional spatial points called a streamlines. A streamline represents an estimate of the link between two anatomically connected brain regions. The image shows thousands of these streamlines estimating the brain connectivity.Related content
