Description

This is a remake of an oooold picture and it's more than just a remake. To me it's a reminder of my original motivation to match the style of the Pokemon anime, so that I could make fantasies come true visually. I've seen others on Deviantart try the whole Pokemon art style. Some just do characters while others go all out and try to do backgrounds. I actually saw an artist who did backgrounds better than the characters.

Basically, [I may have mentioned this before but this is a reminder], when I was a huge fan of Cassidy and had access to a computer, in like 2003-2005, I gave Cassidy a family, because the Pokemon anime doesn't give you much to work with. I gave her an older, fashion-conscious sister, an older geeky brother, and two younger sisters, one who wanted to be a member of Team Rocket. Her fashion-conscious sister I named Cici. In fact all of Cassidy's siblings had "C" names. Connie wanted to be a Team Rocketter, Caeser was the nerd and Dottie was the youngest one and the only one without a "C" name.

I shaded the white objects in the background with a beige-tan color because I saw a painting where someone did something similar and it had a nice warm ambience to it, as opposed to a cold blue color.

Cici has a pose that I've been practicing where her hand is near her face. I'm trying to do more sketches/poses where the hands are close to the face since its pretty common in anime and it gives me more options for poses.
