So I'm excited to about these two new movies coming out...A little more (OK A LOT MORE) excited for the Hunger Games movie since I've read the books and have been spoon fed a bunch of beautiful pictures from the set......
OH GOD I WANT THIS MOVIE SO MUCH!

And Pixar's new movie Brave seems... new? Like I want to say that it resembles more of a "dreamworks" vibe (not saying it's a bad thing...) instead of their original touching tear-jerking- movies....
I want to be proven wrong! I mean, I will wait and trust that Pixar will never lose their magic!
Either way the point of this picture is that we are going to have two bad ass archers that want change EXPLODE the box office rating xD

Very Awesome Collaboration. Two Bad ass Archer girls! (I've actually been wondering about the movie Brave... looks awesome)I recently saw The Avengers, and like hawkeye as well. ^_^ (when going to see the avengers in imax 3D theatre, I saw an awesome commercial for Brave at the beginning.. Buahahaha!!)

I think Pixar is being dumb, there just making a Hunger games for little kids .
Disney needs too get smart and Make ORIGINAL MOVIES not taking good ones and making them crappy or taking old ones & bringing them into 3D . I lost my interest for Disney .

Actually I want to believe that pixar works forever on their ideas. It seems like kind of a coincidence I'm sure that both have female archers... I still believe that the plot will not seem similar to the hunger games. :3
And Pixar does make pretty original movies (well technically no story idea is that much original anymore) for example Toy story, Monsters inc. UP. WallE. Those movies were wonderful... perhaps you are just thinking of only Disney then? (I do admit some work is repetitive with them...)
And I'm sorry you have to grow up in this generation's television xD BUT I'm sure somewhere along the lines, cartoons/movies/tv shows will start to get better. :3 I'm sure of it.

Im really exited for brave, but just watching the trailers from hunger games, I alredy become desapointed. I hated the fact that they did a white Katniss, because of the importance the book gave to skin color. I found this to be quite racists and I alredy lost hope for the movie

I do remember that, but I'm still hopeful for the movie. They picked her because she was able to pull off the character they wanted. I'm going to look passed the skin color and just focus on the acting, and hopefully I won't be disappointed..
but that's just my opinion lol.

My point is that if they couldnt find an actress who could pull off Katniss and had a darker sking color, they werent looking hard enough...
The skin color in the book is used to ilustrate the diference in the distribution of wealth. Its also used as a way to draw a pararelism with the real world. An besides that, if they wished to, they could have make her look darker with make-up, but they choose not to, ignoring that message from the book

You know that is a good point... I mean hell the actress started off with blonde hair, and they dyed that so... why couldn't they spring for a tanning booth xD

I was drawing Princess Merida at school and my classmates asked me if she was Katniss. I felt bad for them because they didn't hear about "Brave". -_-

So I apparently wasn't the only one who noticed this shocking similarity, is what you're saying? Cool!
I don't think that "Brave" really seems Dreamworks-y, although it does seem quite different from their other works. Even the animation style seems a bit different! If any movie of theirs seemed like Dreamworks, it would be "Cars", although it did have an obvious Pixar touch to it.
