Description Park (Time: 15:50 Hours)

Masasa…or Vanini, rather, was still in the tree branch- looking he just woke up before he heard multiple footsteps coming by.

Down below him, a girl with red hair tied to the right side of the head had her back to the tree with multiple tadpoles surrounding her. The girl, from his perspective, though looks rather…dainty. The tadpole’s appearance in question is grey blue colored tadpole Keronian with slightly dark red hair with part of it tied to the left side (when facing her) into a ponytail, held by a black ribbon.  She is seen with a white mask with a black see-through covering that covers the eye areas. Underneath her mask, partially seen underneath, she is shown to have beautiful eyes with grey irises. She’s also seen wearing clothes- she is shown to wear a dark grey shirt with the sleeves on the side with a white collar without the shoulders. She is also seen wearing a skirt of the same color with white trims at the bottom. Finally, she is shown to wear darker grey gloves and boots. She gave an intimidated look as she said, “Why are you girls here now? Leave me alone!”

“Oh you know- you still like the princess you are- fair and serene.” One of the tadpole said, sounding female. “All the boys in our school keeps flocking over you, especially when you played hard to get! Every week we do something that’ll turn the boys off and even humiliate you! We cutted your hair, we died a disgusting color, we slandered you, we spread rumors about you- heck we even did things you didn’t like!”

“Heheh- yeah that Ice cube down the back was the greatest one- I mean she was shivering all day- everyone thought you may of gotten a cold!” another tadpole- a female again commented. “You made it so easy too- I mean you’re one of the few students that actually WEAR clothes! At least you’re not one of those guys who actually cross-dress!*”

*Note: …Er, not to sound mean but it’s for the sake of references. If you got a character who does this sort of thing and would go to school then you may comment on it if you want.

“You girls are just mean!” The red haired girl said as she took a bit of a feeble defensive stance. “I…I can fight back! These boots would hurt!”

“No they won’t wimp!” Another Keronian said as she picked up the red head by the back of her shirt. “Like someone like you can fight back!”

The other girls laughed as the girl as tossed to her left, underneath Vanini. The red haired girl gave a scared expression as the girls walked closer…until the trees rustled and Vanini dropped to the ground, landing on his feet. The girls immediately looked to the incoming and one of them finally asked, “How long were you there?”

“I was in the tree the entire afternoon- I had a good nap too.” Masasa admitted. “So what’s happening- oh wait- I already seen it.”

“Hey, punk- I don’t know what you’re deal is, but you’re standing between us and this girl. So how about you move out of the way, or else you’re gonna get trouble.” One of the female tadpoles said before she grabbed the boy’s hand to try to move him. However, she let go…but Masasa grabbed her hand he tossed him over his head. The girls were definitely surprised. “Hey- you’re not supposed to hit girls!!”

“Oh I’m sorry- I thought you were boys with high pitched voices- I guess everyone makes mistakes considering that you’re picking on her hear.” The male admitted, as –Mystery Blue guy- plays. “It’s hard to tell since we’re Keronians and our genders are usually hidden ‘til we…well you know.” Masasa admitted.

“That’s…that’s some dirty stuff you’re saying there.” One of the girls said with all of them grossed out alongside the red haired girl. “But that’s our friend you’re beating on there!”

“I’m sorry but you ladies moved first- I was just defending myself since you tried to forcibly move me, tomboys.” Vanini admitted. “You know Self-defense and all that? I can’t tell with you.”

“Get him!” The girls said except for the red haired girl yelled as the black and red tadpole easily ducked and weave through multiple punches and kicks the girls tried to use on him. Vanini hoped up a tree as the girls, except for the red haired girl who backed off, tried to shake the tree down. The boy smirked as he let himself drop and hopped off the girl’s heads with his hands before landing on the ground. One of the girls tried to slug him, but then acrobatic tadpole grabbed the arm and made the girl trip over. Another one tried to kick him, but again got caught and tripped. The last girl tried to use her weight to tackle him but the black and red tadpole ducked the shot, and made the girl fall head over heels to the ground as the theme ends. The girls were groaning except for the red haired girl who was a bit away from the action.

“You girls done?” The male tadpole admitted. “Looked like you got thrown around- you got dirt on your face.”

“What’s your deal with us, you punk!” One of the females said, angry as she got up. “Why are you helping her?!”

“Because you’re picking on the red head- who has no quarrel with you what so ever. People who try to bully their ways to the top are nothing but demeaning, harsh, and would only make yourself feel better- you’re just jealous because she was prettier than you just let your jealousy run your life… Now unless you wanna go round two…” Vanini said before glowing with a menacing aura that intimidated them greatly. “Either you go back home, or you bitches are gonna get kicked like the attention seeking mutts you’re acting like and leave that girl alone from now on!” The bully girls immediately looked scared before they fled like crazy. The male lets his aura disappear as he gives a bit of a ‘whew!’ when they were gone. However, the girl was quite nervous too, but the male walks up to her and said, “What’s your name?”

“H-h-huh? M-my name?” the girl said in response. “J…Jesasa.”

“Jesasa, huh? Nice name.” The male responded in response of the response. “Those girls shouldn’t bother you anymore.”

“You…pretty much dodged them and tossed them around like Ragdolls…that was a bit unnecessary- especially the whole ‘scaring them away’ bit. But…thank you.” ‘Jesasa’ responded while bowing. However, the thanks was about to annulled- Vanini notices how the girl was dressed- they seemed to be in somewhat fancy clothes with a skirt as well. He bent down and lifted the skirt to check underneath, noticing the tail. When the girl noticed what the male was doing, her face lit up a bright deep red as the sound of steam pot building up was heard as she immediately shrieked in response. She immediately backed off and hid behind the tree in her embarrassment. “Why did you do that?!”

“You seriously wear a skirt, while Keronians often go around all natural? You’re just begging for trouble.” Vanini said as he sees what just occurred.

“H-how dare you!! You would deliberately look up a skirt of a girl?!” Jesasa exclaimed while hiding her face still while sounding angered. “Honestly! I was thanking you for stopping those bullies and then you pulled this…scandalous trick! Don’t you have any shame for something like that, whoever you are?!”

“Chill for a second before you boil over!” The male tadpole said. “First off, how I was supposed to know you would react like that? And second, it’s not like I remember anything! I have amnesia!”

“Why I…wait, what?” The red haired tadpole admitted in response with her blushing fading. “You… don’t remember?”

“Yeah- I don’t even remember my own name. Just the name I was given for looking like someone- Vanini.”

“Vanini…” The girl parroted as –Fifty ~Trocadero~- played… “I’ll remember that. It’s just…surprising, is all.”

“Look, if you want an apology, then I’m sorry.” The tadpole said. “But I think I better head somewhere else that’s not here.”

The black and red tadpole then walked off a random direction. The girl couldn’t help but to watch before removing her mask to show eyes grey eyes entirely, but with three eyelashes for each eye. He tadpole lines are also present as well- with a dipping point in the center of the arch into a point. She gave a bit of a quizzical look in her eyes as she gives a bit of a wordless nod to herself as she follows along.

Barracks: Exterior

Vanini walked into the building as Jesasa tried to follow along, but stopped. She noticed the building as she admitted, “He’s in the army?”

“Of course.” A familiar voice said as the girl flinched and put her mask on as she looked towards Sododo. “Only members of the army are usually permitted inside. I don’t think civilians are allowed.”

“Um…do you know someone named Vanini?” The girl asked.

“I…do. Why do you ask?” Sododo responded.

“He said that he had amnesia. But…is it true?” The girl asked.

The First Lieutenant looked intrigued about how she heard that, but he does give an answer: “…I’m afraid it is for a fact. He completely forgot- he doesn’t remember his own name.” the swordsman said, turning his head away. “But…the life he’s living now seems to be all the while peaceful for him.” He then turned his head back to the girl and said, “Are you looking for him for this reason?”

“Well, yeah, mostly…and he…sort of looked up my…skirt…” The girl said, looking wishy-washy.

Sododo gave a bit of a disturbed look before slapping his face with his hand and groaning. “I’ll let you in- but you have to stay close, alright?”

“Okay, I will.” Jesasa responded. “I’m Jesasa by the way.”

“I’m Sododo, nice to meet you.” The swordsman said as he walked up to the front of the building to let the girl in. The girl gives a nod and walks inside as the theme ends.

Vanini was about to walk away into the halls as Jesasa called out to him, which prompted him to look but gave an annoyed expression. Sododo was watching the two as he gives a bit of a sigh. He sees, however, Jesasa bowing as if apologizing to him for something he hears that she yelled at him for his behavior so she’s apologizing for her outburst. The swordsman then sees Masasa…or Vanini shrugging as if to apologize and shaking hands. Sododo walks up to the two as if he wants to lead the two somewhere…

1 Month, 27 Days ago: Barracks: Meeting Room (Time 9:30)

“You…WHAT?!” Ivovo yelled. “You let him leave, after I just told you yesterday to bring him in?!”

“He chose to leave.” Sododo added. “He wanted to find himself again.”

“This decision you made…is undeniably…critically…..and most of all, treasonous of all…UNACCEPTABLE CHOOSENING! UNACCEPTABLE!!!” Ivovo yelled at the top of his lungs.

“Whoa… I just got a sense of Déjà vu.” Kabubu admitted with odd expression as he took a sip of lemonade before Ivovo smacks the glass out of his hand.

"You let your spy get traumatized from a mission, you let pyrotechnic trooper play…games with your entire platoon, and you of all the most officers we have let your mentally unstable trooper, who is in NO CONDITION to even participate in missions, allow to go into combat! Worst of all you let him DEFECT FROM YOU, which would cause outrageous consequences to the citizens of Keron!" The outraged colonel said with his face literally turning red. "Words cannot express how angry I am and how the army will be at your failures, Sododo! You have failed as a leader of the platoon, and failed to keep your younger troopers in line! I would personally FIRE you from the army, jailed you for your treason and your platoon will be scattered to different galaxies of this universe!” The soldier said before calming down. “Forgive me…but I…lost control of my rage and lost my patience. But the army knows for sure that Masasa is somewhere on Keron- and they WILL find him. But…as for you- due to your services on Keron and through multiple pleadings of other platoons, reviewing your reports on the missions and balancing from the status of your team, we decided to demote you to First Lieutenant. Personally, I would want to demote you to Warrant Officer to further my point of ‘shape up or ship out’, but it was decision of the others to do so."

The leader turned his head with a down look. "Then why not do that to me then?" Kabubu said.

"W-What!?" A Shocked Sododo asked.

Ivovo  gave an intrigued look to this reaction as he hears the demo Keronian’s words.

"It's always been me and the leader since we were starting out, sir. It's my fault as well for the care of the younger troopers as well." The grey keron said as he stands up and salute. "As co-leader of the Platoon, I shall accept your personal punishment as for my failure. This is beyond our control that sometimes life throws at us. I will take this punishment upon myself to help my friend out in the future."

The Colonel gave an intrigued look at Kabubu’s "…My, aren't you honorable, Kabubu? You taking the fall for your leader when he should accept it. That's quite noble of you." He said.

Sododo looked to of a hesitated at the moment before saying, "Kabubu, you're not-"

"Just go with it." Kabubu said.

“Very well then.” The superior said before punching in a computer that appeared… and with Sododo and Kabubu’s ranks now demoted on screen. “Demotion complete- you are now First Lieutenant Sododo and Warrant Officer Kabubu again. But know this- your spontaneous actions will no doubt cause trouble. I was going to think of shelving this but seeing this…fiasco and how it developed into, it appears that I will have to throw this in after all.”

The two listened in to what Ivovo said, but what they heard definitely shocked them- “T…Terminate our Platoon’s operations?!”

“Exactly. Your acts have no doubt caused the army to look down on you- each of you has caused disruptions for each other, and the army will see fit to terminate your platoon’s operations. So I, in accordance to the army, am to order you to begin separating yourselves and find new platoons to be put into within 6 months. Should you fail to find a Platoon before the end of August, I shall be authorized with the order to find and put any loose members into a Platoon of my choosing.”

“You can’t do this!” Sododo exclaimed.

“Oh, but I can!” The colonel. “By August’s end of this year, Fortress mercenaries shall be no more. No exceptions.”

After the meeting… Barracks: Halls

"I don't get it; Why did you have to satisfy the commander's taste?" The confused leader asked the now newly demoted Warrant Officer as –First Wave ~Trocedero~- plays.

Kabubu just lifted his sunglasses and said, "I can't let the commander keep on chewin' ya out like that. Ya can't 'ave honor without some dignity lad! Besides, you can't 'ave the lassies think yer some big ol' pushover."

All did the First Lieutenant say giving smile was… "I see. Thank you, old friend."

"No prob. But now we got a new problem- The army's raggin' on our asses just to shape up and join a new Platoon- or let the arse do it. OR quit the army." The demo keron said.

"…Of all the times to shape up, I feel I'm an awful leader." Sododo said while lowering his head. "Maybe Masasa was right- there comes a time when we all go our separate paths. We know that Puriri or Fayaya would never want to separate from us, but we have no choice. I wish there was a way we can stick together, but the army is only going to tear us apart one way another."

"In our service of the army we managed to get 3 favors from 'em. We can choose to cash in on 'em." Kabubu said.

"I want to hold on them until the time is right." Sododo said.

"But I gotta say it though... our commanding officer's a real ass and half." Kabubu admitted.

“Yeah…I don’t know how to break the news to Puriri and Fayaya though…we’ve been together for a long time now- it will be terrible just to see this go to pieces because of the army.” Sododo said.

“What do you think we do?” Kabubu asked.

“If father would here…” The Navy Blue keronian admitted.

“You ain’t yer dad, mate.” The demo Keronian said, prompting the swordsman to look. “Yer dad’s gone for a long time now. He can’t tell you things that you would for yourself. You gotta do things ya own way!”

“Yeah…I know…but I wonder he would say now?” The swordsman admitted. “Probably to keep trying to think of a way.”

“Swords and bombs, I don’t have anything in mind.” Kabubu groaned. “And we still gotta tell the two about what’s happening!”

“…Well…I can think of something.” Sododo admitted. “But…Puriri and Fayaya might have to take some convincing.”

“Sododo, what are you plannin’ there?” The Demo Keronian asked.

“Your right- I’m not my father. He’s gone and I’m here. But my father also had friends he could count on during his time to the army- people to trust.” The swordsman said.

“Oi! You mean…”

“Yeah. It’s time that we go to him- and see about what we can do about our situation- at least he’s full of knowledge.”

“But do you know where he is?” Kabubu asked.

“I think I might have a clue.” The swordsman said.

The Recruitment Building: 2nd Floor

A familiar individual was writing reports when the Navy blue soldier walks up to where the desk is. The individual was wearing a coat as he said, “Ah, can I help you?”

“Yeah. I’m here to look for someone. And that someone is you.” Sododo said as the camera shown him.

“…” The camera pans as it shows the Major sitting in the seat with his hood up. His eyes seem to shine as he said, “It appears that my waiting has paid off in full after all. Now…how can I help you, First Lieutenant Sododo?”

Present Day: Café (Time 16:30)

Runini was seen waiting in the front as Sododo soon came walking in. “Hey, you made it!” Runini admitted with a bright smile.

“Yeah, I did.” Sododo said with a small smile. “So how was your day?”

“The Major helped out a lot in the office, so I guess you can that he helped me adjust to it. I may not like working for the army but at least according to what you said, I can give them a smile to help them.” The Receptionist said with a concerned look but that turned into a bit of a cheerful look. “But thanks again for the coffee this morning.”

“That’s good and no problem.” The swordsman admitted. “By the way, do you feel up to listening more of the story?”

“Well…sure but are you sure we aren’t going to be interrupted this time?” Runini admitted.

“Don’t worry, don’t worry. Puriri or anyone shouldn’t interrupt us this time.” Sododo said. “My friends are in the middle of a reunion anyways.”

“But…are you sure you can trust me to be told this?” Runini asked. “I might be-“

“Of course…if you can keep a secret.” The Navy blue Keronian admitted. “Besides, I think I can enjoy your company.”

“Promise! And…what do you mean ‘you think?’” Runini said as the two walked into the Café.

“Nothing at the moment- but how about something like this; Anything without caffeine, thanks.” Sododo said. “Don’t feel like staying up tonight.”

“Heheh, okay.” Runini said as she walked him inside.

Barracks: Exterior

Masasa (Vanini) and Jesasa walked down the steps as Kabubu, Fayaya and Puriri followed them down. “So, what are you gonna do now, Vanini?” Puriri asked.

“Easy, I’m gonna head back to the Winged Elemental Corps.” Vanini admitted. “You guys can back to…whatever you were doing.”

“Oh, of course.” Fayaya said nodding. “We were still packing a bit. Besides, at least we get see of each other from now on, huh?”

“Yeah…I guess so.” The black and red tadpole admitted.

“By the way…I’ve been meaning to ask since we got really distracted with seeing you- who’s your cute friend here?” The Pyro asked.

“Ummm…we just met today.” Jesasa said, nervous. “I’m Jesasa.”

“Huh…” Puriri said. “Nice to meet you Jesasa! Um, not to sound weird, but can you undo your hair?”

The grey-blue tadpole female gave a puzzled expression before nodding and undoing her ribbon to her hair drop. It looked to be long- at least a little close to the thighs.

“Will this do?” Jesasa asked.

“Errr…” Puriri tried to let her down her hair which looked to be close to tail level. “Geez- and I thought I got long hair! But…here goes!” Puriri then glows with a light…and replicates Jesasa’s appearance without clothes with her shocked- no belly symbol, no mask and a-

“Umm…you got the tadpole line wrong.” Jesasa said still kind of surprised. “It’s a bit of a dip like this.” She then used her finger on Puriri’s head to make her head with a curving line down. Puriri gave a quick ‘thanks!’ before glowing a bit more and now finally replicating her appearance with slightly shorter hair shorter height. “That’s amazing! I never know you can do that! That’s what I look like when I’m…n…naked…” She seemed to be embarrassed.

“Sorry, but I can’t replicate clothes.” Puriri admitted. “If I could I’d let you know.”

“But it’s still a pretty cool ability!” Jesasa said with a smile as Puriri changes back to normal and she tucks her hair back into her hat and helps the red head to tie her hair up. “Thank you.

“No problem!” Puriri said with a smile. “Hope we can see you again some time!”

“Y-yes.” Jesasa nodded. “I…I never actually had friends from the army before. Thanks for letting me get to know you.”

“No problem/Yeah/Thank you!” The three said.

Vanini smirked as he walked towards the taller buildings as with Jesasa waving off from the directions of the houses.

“…” The three smiled before giving sighs. “Kabubu…I…I don’t want to be separated from everyone…you know that, right?” Puriri admitted.

“Yeah, I know lassie.” Kabubu admitted. “As long as we’re stuck in the army, we be forced to go our separate ways. But…I’m sure we’ll think of something…”

“We just need more time.” All three said in a jinx. “We’re just not ready…to say goodbye.”

Star Street

Masasa was walking down the way as the sun begins to set and his shadow becoming bigger. He looks to it and gives a bit of a sigh and said, "Is it better for me to try to remember...or to try to forget?"

The male continued to walk down the way as he said something else-

"Either way, what I have now will be stuck with me for the time to come."

Cafe: Interior

Runini was taking a bit of a sip of a drink topped with whipped cream as she asks, "So what happened next after you formed Fortress?"

"Well...to remember, me and Kabubu were returning to back to the barracks when a short young Keronian child- Puriri- came seeking Fortress' help. Over the year we formed it, we became a form...rising star I guess. But...Puriri was first clue about the experiments too... and a sign of what's to come."

"Really?" The Receptionist said. "Why?"

"Our tale is a trial of dark secrets, odd mishaps, and bloody messes. But It's also our time be as one, to strive to become stronger, to begin to overcome ourselves, and to forge our bonds with companions and hardships." The Swordsman said as he took a drink of his choice as the theme ends.

"This is but a start to a new Resolution."
