A parigons crest is a fleshy and paddle shaped appendage located at the top of the head. They come in a myriad of of shapes and all are topped with a small spike at the tip of each crest. Every parigon is born with these crests. The crests do not contain bones yet are extremely dexterous and are capable of a wide range of movement.
