“It’s beautiful,” Saga pauses to glance at you before returning her gaze to the amulet laid before her paws, “Isn’t it?” You eagerly place yourself beside the curly female as you observe the amulet with caution. It is laced in diamonds and various pristine metals. Saga was right, the amulet was beautiful and while your eyes are locked upon it, you feel a tight tug in your chest, Saga notices your expression change, “You feel it, don’t you?,” She queried with curiosity. A warm fiery feeling built up in the pit of your stomach before Saga dropped her head to draw the cloth the amulet laid upon overtop of its crystal face, shielding it from your gaze. Almost immediately the feeling left but instead questions now replaced its tempting grip. What was that thing? Why did you feel compelled to touch it? “You’re wondering just what this amulet is, aren't you?” Saga nodded her head forward, just in front of the two of you a gaping chasm splits the earth in half, “Do you know what this chasm is called?” Saga asked, not giving you enough time to answer as Haldor’s Pass pulses beneath you both, “Eventide Shade, where all objects go to die.” You turn to look out over the chasm where the darkness swallows it whole, “This Amulet belonged to Hel, she asked me to be rid of it, and after traversing with it for days I now understand why, but here I stand before Eventide Shade, struggling to let it fall within.”
Saga growled at herself softly with irritation, “I’d hate to ask yet another favor of you, my dear friend,” Saga didn’t even need to say anything else really, you already know just from a glance that the curly female needed your help dropping the curious amulet over Eventide’s edge. You nod gently and reach for the amulet but Saga stops you, “Don’t touch it!” She lashes out with discomfort, worried for your well being. You freeze for a moment before continuing with caution. You take the cloth within your teeth and stand now over the chasm a few dozen feet in front of Saga, you glance down and the darkness tears you open. Drop the amulet within Eventide Shade and earn Saga’s favor. As if she doesn’t owe you enough favors as it is.
