Well i finally finished the Leopard. This leopard will be the first of a series of drawings that i will be making of big cats. My next one will be either a jaguar, lion or tiger. But before i can start on that one i gotta finish a couple commissions that i have. Well this one is 11x14 done with pencil on vellum bristol paper. Its elegance and beauty is what caught my attention. The sense is peace but also the sense its ready to pounce when its necessary. Well thank you all that followed my progress.Related content

Asolutely gorgeous! The detail in this is amazing. I love big cats, you've done a wonderful job of capturing the fierce beauty. The fur is so well done. Excellent work.

yes its a drawing lol. Well thank you again. The bright areas is the paper itself, i just left it blank. The fur highlights i used a kneaded eraser to remove the graphite. It took my a while to make but it was worth it.

You've really captured the beauty of this big cat! I love how you've drawn the fur and whiskers. Great expression too - as you said, peaceful yet alert
The only thing I could wish for was a bigger image so you could really see the details.
