Description
This covers the topic about how type D, E, F and G(or including K) high-angle firing casemate turret work, and the mechanical function of how stacked heavy gun works. The high angle casemates are self-explainatory, they work quite the same as your regular naval turrets, but not restricted by what a regular casemate always suffer from; the lack of gun elevation.
The stacked heavy gun turret does not have the same loading mechanism on top gun and bottom gun, the lower one has a side loading breech while the top gun have sliding breech. This mechanism is made to save space but is a complex design in return. The design is not always like that, you can reduce the complexity by designing a two level loading sytem(ill draw it later), but rpm would slow as people have to climb up and down with the ammo, or you can again, stop the slow rpm with ammunition elevators or autoloaders.
