Yeah, most definitely. I guess the pretty boys explain it all. It's not surprisingly to see some insane fangirls who just pair up the 'hot guys' archetypes with another male characters, completely ignoring all their personality traits just for their own wet dream and pleasure, as that's been a very serious issue in other fandoms, such as Final Fantasy VII in which Cloud is paired up with Sephiroth, who is his archnemesis. Followed by Batman x Joker (Worst nightmare to hardcore Batman fans like me), Steve x Darren from Darren Shan Saga, Alucard x Alexander Anderson, and so on....the list is endless...The next time you have another encounter with a SC Yaoi fangirl, ask her to look at Valerian's response to Donnie Vermillion's question about his love life.

P.S. - Donnie Vermillion is an ass and I was glad that he was hospitalized and his position as an anchor was replaced by Kate, who deserved it. He must be the satirical figure that symbolizes the biased assholes and self-righteous douches from the Fox News.
I am sure they will accept it and Star Control is a fantastic game too.

If I were to pick the top five, the list would be 1) StarCraft franchise, 2) Final Fantasy VII (Didn't like other games...I don't think they were as fantastic as the VII one, mostly because of the storyline and....TIFA, BARRET AND VINCENT!

This is awesome...Matt and Mira are such a cute couple. And the way you've drawn them is great as well. 
I was disspointed in the story that Mira didn't play more of a part in it, but the fact that she existed made my day. She was a perfect play off of Matt's military, no nonsense attitude...no one would expect a guy like that to "win" a "wife" in a poker game. That was just to funny.
After playing the game for about 12 hours stright after it came out, the introduction of Mia Han definitely improved my mood. It in fact led me to beat the game so that I could see more interactuions with her...but she didn't make a re-appearence.

And Miora surviving is another thing I liked. If they killed her off right after creating her, I would be mad as hell. I just hope she and Matt(since both are required for the relationship...I hope...necrophelia...creepy...) live through all the games. It would suck to see such an aspiring young hero die. Mira's death would be horrible...what would Matt do without his (caring?loving? What would fit here?) wife.
They are so different which is why the pairing is so interesting...a very military man who seeks justice and a mercenary who he won in a card game...what isn't interesting about that?
Correction: Matt, DA, and we need more Mira. I think they should have their own club.

If she dies, I will forget that part of the game/story ever happens.
I'm just worried she and matt won't make many appearences.
The next game/expansion is Zerg based/Kerrigan based. That means that it will likely be about Kerrigan, Jimmy, Mengsk, and maybe Zeratul. Maybe even Valerian if he pulls his panties up and gets his act together(I like Valerian, but he is to much of a pretty boy). But Matt will likely be very minor as he is the second in command of a secondary character in the next game...Mira is the minor character wife of a minor character ho is the second in command of a secondary character...I feel sorry for her.
And the third game will be worse. Does Matt even KNOW Zeratul other than the name and face? The only way Mira could really fit in is if she fights as a mercenary for some Terrans that are stealing some protoss/Xel Naga artifact. That does not bode well. And Matt would likely be minor again as he is the seocnd in command of an ally of the protoss. I feel sorry for how minor they likely will be over the next few games/expansions.

I'm always wondering what nationality Mira is... her name is Mira which means "look" in Spanish (understandable since she has a cyborg eye), but her last name is Han, which is Chinese or Mongolian, but she doesn't look at all asian [link] , okay, maybe just a wee bit. On top of all that, she has a vaguely Russian-sounding accent, and they say she has green eyes (well one) [link]

Her accent is either Romanian or Moldovan, but Han would imply East-Siberian-Russian.
It doesn't say much though since all the Koprulu sector is composed by randomly distributed exiles from Earth. East European accents (like the Battlecruiser's commodore) might have to do with dominant linguistic groups on certain Koprulu planets but Blizzard hasn't clarified which are they (though American redneck accents and themes seem to be dominant in Confedarate/Tarsonian colonies).

I wondered that myself. But I don't think any Terrans have any specific nationality as they started out as 3 or 4 (I can't remember T^T) prison ships that got stranded in the Koprulu sector. They all have to be a huge combination of sorts by now. Also, I kind of wonder if they were trying to make a reference to Han Solo a "mercenary" from from Star Wars. There were quite a few random references in there (Office Space??? LOL). Also, I'm pretty sure she is voiced by Kath Soucie and she's been doing some interesting voice/accents lately, so who knows.

4 prison ships that crashed on Korhal, Umoja and two other planets, which i don't remember.
I think that the creators forgot about the theory that "in the future, everybody will be of blended ethnicity and no one will be a pure breed". All the characters seem to be of modern American ethnicity who listen to 550 year old songs about a place called Alabama and not like space traveling super beings of the 26th century. Tosh is black, there were some characters of asian ethnicity in the books or in SC:Ghost if I'm not mistaken and like 90% of Terrans in the Koprulu sector are white bread... descended from American convicts that were sent there a while back.
I guess that's what made me relate to the story so much: they're not the finest and brightest of people that mankind has to offer (not like the Mary Sue spehss mahreens from warhammer 40k), they're scum, convicts and outlaws, living and adapting in a god-forsaken small area of space in a big galaxy. That... is realistic.
