If you did an animation where you cut from the dark version to briefly show the light version before cutting back to dark, it would look like a cloud being lit up by flashes of lightning.

I'm loving the contrast between the foreground and background here. The softness of the blur offsets the sharp, striking features of the predominant structure fantastically!
