As much as I love fire-related stuff, I can't help but think that I overuse it too much because of how easy I find it to work with...but maybe that's fine; if it like working with it that much, perhaps forcing myself to stay away from it isn't something I should worry about that much either...Also I think I need to make some new fire palettes in that case...annnnyway, I hope you all enjoy it

From my perspective, hearing that my artwork inspires others is something that I never would have imagined. Additionally I love massive, fantastic scenes, and the preview that you linked certainly seemed very cool -- and would be something that my own mind would want to explore!
Drawing is one of those things that I wish I could do (particularly drawing characters and creatures), and perhaps I will try doing so someday. There's a lot of practice, support, and getting over mental blocks that I'd need to along the way though... :S

i'll let you know when the raging flame-coloured fractals get old... until then,

Even if it gets old I think I'd still make them. The hardest part is to make some good gradients that don't have fire in them, as I'm sorely lacking some of those.
And oh, I tried rendering this in ultra quality but it ended up with a ton of "specular," super bright white patches, which seems weird...I can show you later once I get done eating and get back on my desktop, if you think that this would be a bug of some sort...
