"What are you trying to say? That I shall take relationship advice from a stupid heartbreaker like you?" - Again, Connor was upset at Stan. His had noticed the downfall of Connor's wellbeing and asked him about it, but Connor wasn't thrilled to give an answer to Stan's question.

Right as the night set in, Stan was about to lead his companion Zero to his pasture, as crossed Connor, who was staring blankly into the empty outdoor arena. "What's wrong, Connor," he asked and stopped beside him with a concerned expression, "You've been kinda down ever since your New Year's trip. Kory told me about that little new interest of yours~. You missing your love yet?"

"Oh f*ck off," Connor responded without turning around, "Konrad should keep his damn mouth on his own stuff. Can yall stop sniffing around in my stuff?".

Stan felt the tension grow between them. Like Connor, he too could sometimes be easily angered, but for Connor to react this strongly usually requires quite a load. "I see, so the Lady he told me about chose someone else huh... See, I am sorry Connor, but you should keep your brain focussed. Love and relationships were never your priority anyway so why do you make such a big deal out of this," Stan commented without realizing that he made a critical hit with that.

As a response, Connor quickly turned around to snap at Stan, "Especially YOU of all people don't have the f*cking right to talk to me like that about love and relationships! You are a stupid heartbreaker! A player! You toss girls away like nothing once you're done with 'em! Not only that, your damn preferences are gonna kill someone soon! That someone will be me, as my life already was on the Line because of one of your girlfriends!"

Stan took it personally, "What? I only had three girlfriends thus far! One was Amy, but SHE dumped me like nothing. Yuna was the second, and SHE also left me. The last one, Lil' was a Paris-Love. So what kind of dangers are you talking about, and what do you mean by I toss them around, huh?!"

"YUNA FUCKING SHOT ME BECAUSE OF YOU!". Connor had enough and pointed at the bloody spot on his hoodie. It has been several years already but the stain stayed no matter how often Connor had tried to wash it out. The entry and exit holes of the bullet were patched, but for many, it was clear what might have happened to Connor. Although he and others who knew of the incident covered the hoodie up as a strange design choice with no hidden meaning, there was a lot of doubt.

With that, Connor left the Ranch and did not return to his shared home with Stan but instead sought refuge at his somewhat friend Shouri.
