Description
Made from all original handmade pieces.All rings hand made by me from straight wire
I have had an idea to do this piece for years, finally sat down and did it.
Weave: European 6-1, box chain top
Metal: Stainless Steel
The ring size is the same as the micromail vest in my gallery.
I was surprised how long this piece took me! but 6-1 always takes me way longer to do then it should.
This is sort of a dieselpunk piece for cosplay, im going to make another one or two to be more ornate.

The only suggestion I have is to make a Box chain trim to really finish it off. If you know how to do a 90 degree seam and box chain its really easy and makes a border for the piece

Looks great. I made a 6-1 full body hauberk a year ago.. took forever. Unfortunately mine started falling apart, the slightest movement caused strain on the rings and they were opening up everywhere.. month and months of work for 2 days of wear XD.
Anyways, Nice work! I dont think you will have that problem with this piece because its not going to be bending/twisting/fording like a chainmail does..
