Here we have my take on a dragon from the Pern series by Anne McCaffrey. This particular dragon is a newly hatched Golden Queen. This started out originally as a pencil sketch on a piece of notebook paper, and I am quite pleased with how it came out.The text on the picture is the words of a song from the book series. It seemed to fit well with the general picture, so I added it in.
Text: "Oh, tongue give sound to joy and sing of hope and promise on dragon wing..." "Egg nears the day of hatching, Weyr Woman honor our Golden Queen."

Ooh, this is really cool, I love the look of him and all those bright colours! Gah, I really gotta read the Pern series - it looks good, and i love the Acorna series so I'd probably like that, too! ^_^
I love his face. He's really cute!
By the way I think I remember reading somewhere that you aren't allowed to upload pics of Anne McCaffrey's characters, or something along those lines... I dunno if it's true or not but you might wanna check that out. ^_^;;
