|| Introverted ||

 || Speaks their mind to loudly || Easily heated || Gets frustrated easily ||

A passionate pony with a heart of sound. She is always there to be a shoulder for her friends when things go wrong or things upset them. Fights for what she believes in regardless the people that go against her, if she feels in her heart its right, she will fight for it. Rights for all is what she believes, everyone deserves a chance at the fruits of life.
As passionate she is about her work and making joy for all, she is highly introverted and would rather take a walk in the woods and read books, or work on her music illusions on her own. Before each concert, she has to take a moment to clear her mind of the fear of messing up.
Rylee suffers from Asperger syndrome, better know as Social Autism. Due to this she tends to speak her opinions very loudly and not hold things to herself. She doesn't get the concept of "keeping things to yourself". She tends to share to much, and ramble due to it. Along with this, she understands the human mind a little too much, and can feel peoples emotions, but tends to look too much into what the person she is speaking to is saying, how they are acting or reacting. She panics and gets easily frustrated, especially if she feels even the slightest that someone is bewidling her feelings or emotions. She gets heated and agitated as well, and will tend to get mad at a spark, before walking off to clear her mind. Sometimes though, this causes her to lash out and say things she doesn't mean.

Backstory

Rylee comes from a town where all that mattered to the people was sports, drinking and gambling. Her father was a coach for a little league at her local private filly school. Her mother was a lawyer, usually working with the rich. They lived a very black and white life, high status, respect and well off for their life. With a daughter to mold to their aspect.
During her child hood, Rylee went to a private school for high status Filly's. She had little friends, and was a blank flank far longer than most her class mates. She never could seem to understand what her talent could possibly be, especially with bother her parents demanding she be skilled at the talents her parents shared. Her father would make her try out for Soccer, and bass ball, even wrestling at one point, and each time she would fail. She hated sports, always had her head in the clouds or looked for ways to make little songs with trash cans or table tops. Her parents told her to "STOP the foolishness, music is a pointless waste of time." and would throw her into sophisticated classes.
During her youngest years it had be grown apparent that Rylee had something wrong with her, no matter how hard she had tried, she just couldn't interact with other filly's the way she should have. She was always to nervous, or would snap at people if they irritated her. She closed herself off a lot, staying to herself. She was taken to "special" classes. Tests designed to determine whether she had any disorders. She was diagnosed with Social Autism, and sever anxiety disorder.
With that Rylee refused to let her parents force their lives on her and always pushed through, excelling in her classes, working hard with her projects. But she just couldn't seam to make friends or get her talent to show up.  Then one day she was in her last year of Filly school, and a magical sound of a harp sounded down a hallways she was wandering. She stopped in her tracts and it was almost as if the music was speaking to her to come and look, just a small peek. She followed the music to the instrument room where a choir was practicing. She saw so many instruments while peering from the door way, and watched a pony she had seen many times, pluck the strings of a silver harp. The sound was so gentle and sweet it made all the anxiety in the unicorn to just seep away. Something forced her hooves to step in the room and walk over to the pony.

"M....may I try?" She asked the earth pony playing the instrument expecting a quick 'Get out', but to her surprise the pony smiled at her and handed her the instrument.
What unfolded then was impossible, the she started at the silver of the strings and something took over her, her horn let out a burst of magic that engulfed the instrument in a beautiful blue and purple glow, before forming her own version of the metal instrument. The sound from the mythical instrument was like out of a music video, so sweet and magical that it seemed unreasonable. She moved her hooves along the magnificent glowing strings, it felt like she finally found her place in the world and all her worries just vanished.
When she finally stopped, the instrument vanished and she looked around her, the entire choir staring at her with jaw dropped expressions. Her face flushed and she swallowed hard before bolting out the door.
When she finally slowed down and stopped she was in the girls restroom panting hard. She looked at the mirror in front of her and on her flank she saw a neon music note on her hips. She was so shocked she almost screamed with happiness before she paused and instantly thought of what her parents would think. They didn't believe music was 'Practical'.

At the end of the day, she had her coat around her flank as she walked home, trying to think of a plan. What would she do? Would her parents be okay with her talent? understand it? She shook her head, perhaps she should just put makeup over it and forget it. As she neared her manor she walked through the gate and into her house. She sat in her living room waiting for her parents to arrive home before deciding. She couldn't help what her talent was, and she couldn't hid it logically either. She mid as well own up to it and face what her parents would think.
When her mother arrived home she saw her daughter sitting on the couch , and did her neutral hello nod before walking away but Rylee opened her mouth "Mother, May...May I speak with you?" she asked in a small voice. Her mother stopped and turned around "What is it? I have a lot of work to do, I don't have time to dilly dally." She said as she neared her daughter noticing the coat around her flanks. "What is this? A new fashion?" She mocked.
Rylee looked at her mother and then averted her eyes and swallowed a lump in her throat. "No... No not that. Uhm. I.. I learned my talent today.." She said carefully looking up slightly. Her mother stared for a second before smiling wide "Oh my dear! I knew you would be a lawyer! Just like your Mother!" She yipped happily and clapped her hooves together with delight. While this occurred, Rylee kept saying "mother.... no.. mom... please let me... mother.... MOTHER!" as she yelled, her mother paused and looked at her confused "What? Yelling is so obscenely."
Rylee sighed and stood up from the couch, the coat lifting off her to show her mother the Cutiemark she had earned. Her mother blinked and looked at it, it was as if she didnt know what a music note was before she sighed almost with what sounded disappointment. But to her surprise her mother still smiled "Honey, Yes. I'm disappointed you wont be a lawyer... and I think Music is... Silly. But if that is what you are good at, I cant stop that." She told her daughter with, what seamed like for the first time, pride and love.

Skip a head many years, she graduated at the top of her class, was the president of the music club, and started getting signed and founded by many agencies. She started developing her music illusions and her playing skills. She would come to learn to manipulate, make, and lay many different forms of insturments. Ranging from well know ones such as Acoustic guitar, Piano, Electric, Dj-ing, to the Hang, conga, Ocarina, Hydrolauphone, and more.
Her family has grown accustom to her music talents but did not fully support it. She had to do most of this on her own. Her father was the main one that was displeased. Her mother understood but her father... just didn't get how the music made her feel. She decided to leave her family and move on, travel the world before she stepped foot in a town she had just found out about, Applewoods Grove. It was new, she was new. All she had with her was her cart of instruments and a will to know this magical place. She hoped to show this place her talent and make all those within it eager to listen to what she had to share.
