First Picture of 2007! Woot!
Soooo. I know that everybody has certain songs, that if they listen to ... You seem to forget everything else, and just. Listen!
Well, I was listenning to the verve "bitter sweet symphony", and its one of those songs that does that to me, and i came up with this. Simple as!
Its not meant to be depressive or anything, more ... uplifting. Breaking free perhaps. You guys can decide for yourselves!
Anyway, this was a pretty quick one really.
Sketched out tradtionally, inked and colored in photoshopCS2.
Wacom intuos3.

This reminds me of Jane from "Speaker of the Dead" by Orson Scott Card. To put it simple, she was an entity living inside the computer network, managing every incoming and outgoing bit of information. I don't know if it was intended to look that way but that's the first thing that popped into my head

You have this wonderful understanding of the human form - an ability to beautifully represent the gentle lines of its contours.
Every once in a while it comes across more potently than in other pieces, usually when you pair a certain touch of colour, or a specific hue to the image, and here it is again.
Emotion, and light, and form all coming together superbly.
