Girl, you just got me to read both ACOTAR and ACOMAF in TWO DAYS.
Goddamn, was the second book GOOD. I'll admit, the first book had me a little annoyed, especially since I could see right through Tamlin and sorta knew where that was headed, but then the second book redeemed the series in my eyes, and I'm glad that your work got me to give it a shot

(Also... HOW ARE WE SUPPOSED TO WAIT A WHOLE YEAR?!?! *sobs* P.S, if you're down to read a beautiful complete series that has to be my all time fave, read the FABLEHAVEN series. There are 5 books in total, and each book gets SO MUCH BETTER than it's predecessor, it's insane. Like ACOTAR, the first book shows a glimpse of the world, of the overarching plot, but as the books go along the world opens up and is fleshed out so amazingly! It's fantasy set in our current world, and done really believably. The author also slings stuff at you that you didn't see coming but that seem so obvious in retrospect. I really hope you give that amazing series a chance one day

I love their relationship too, hence why I wanted to paint it! The first is a good book, frustrating at times, but man oh man. She just knocked it out of the park with the second which I wasn't expecting at all.Β

OK ! I'm sold , I will try to have and read the book as fast as I can , but please let me touch on the fact of how luck you are and how much I'm jealous that you have this passionate feeling about something and your recording them so they will never fade away , I love those phases of my life when I feel just the same (you just don't get them that much), so enjoy this time as long as it last .Oh and it's needless to say what a beautiful painting .

I saw this stunning piece of artwork, and was immediately curious about the series. And even though I saw some less-than-flattering reviews on Goodreads, I needed to at least give it a chance, considering how it had inspired this.
Two days later, and I've eaten both books raw. Thank you for introducing me to them!

No Kidding. Β Every time I finish one of Maas's book I'm just left stunned by how she was able to weave the story and connect things from previous books that I hadn't even given a second thought to. Β

Oh god, I also just finished ACOMAF and I couldn't do anything but think about it and wishing for the third book!Β Seeing this beautiful piece of fan art literally sent me over the edge! You can't possibly understand how happy I was when I saw this, I can never find quality fan art for these books.
If you haven't yet, I suggest you read the Throne of Glass series by Sarah J. Maas, a great cure for that book hangover

Well, to be honest, I went to wikipedia and searched up an article about Maas. When I got to the paragraph "Maas began writing what would become her debut novel, Throne of Glass, when she was sixteen years old. After writing several chapters of the novel (then titled Queen of Glass), she posted them on FictionPress.com where it was one of the most popular stories on the site." that was enough of a warning for me.
Perhaps she is more experienced now, of course. But, you know... "mighty and majestic S. J. Maas." is a little far fetched.
