"Amelia, you should be asleep. It's late-" Lilith began , but Mia interrupted her. "I can't rest knowing you're not okay. Please, tell me what's going on," Mia pleaded, her concern evident in her voice.
"you wouldn't understand!…"
"try me! I've been through a lot too," Mia said.
"i told you it's business… important business!" Mia could sense the tension in Lilith's voice and knew she had to push for answers. "I don't care about the details, I just want to help you," Mia said firmly, determined to break through Lilith's defenses.
"Mia, we're done talking about this!"
"No! We are not done talking until you tell me what's going on," Mia insisted, refusing to back down.Lilith still said nothing, Mia's eyes narrowed soon having enough of the queens stubbornness and silence. "Mia, please, just trust me on this," Lilith finally pleaded, her voice softening. Mia could see the vulnerability beneath Lilith's tough exterior and knew she had to approach the situation with care.
"Amelia, listen to me! you're too young to understand!-"
"To think that I admired you! and now you're abandoning me too! just like they did!" Mia's voice cracked with emotion as she felt a surge of betrayal. Lilith's eyes softened, realizing the impact of her silence on Mia. "I never wanted to hurt you, Amelia. Please believe me," Lilith whispered, reaching out to comfort the young girl.

"no! Leave me alone!" Tears streamed down Mia's face as she pushed Lilith away, her heart heavy with disappointment and confusion.
