Another year is flying by and I never thought I could see movies as good as in previous years.
So here are my 10 favorite movies of the year:

10.𝑾𝒆𝒔𝒕 𝑺𝒊𝒅𝒆 𝑺𝒕𝒐𝒓𝒚 (2021):
I know it's a movie from last year but since I saw it this year and how Spielberg did so well in remaking this classic film.

9.𝑩𝒖𝒍𝒍𝒆𝒕 𝑻𝒓𝒂𝒊𝒏
One of the most unbridled and crazy action movies with a large cast with good chemistry.

8.𝑯𝒖𝒔𝒕𝒍𝒆
Some of Adam Sandler's best work in this sports drama, which features a good father and son type relationship.

7.𝑻𝒉𝒆 𝑩𝒂𝒏𝒔𝒉𝒆𝒆𝒔 𝒐𝒇 𝑰𝒏𝒊𝒔𝒉𝒆𝒓𝒊𝒏
Farrell and Gleeson's duo returns quite fresh and shows how complex and difficult friendship can be.

6.𝑬𝒗𝒆𝒓𝒚𝒕𝒉𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝑬𝒗𝒆𝒓𝒚𝒘𝒉𝒆𝒓𝒆 𝑨𝒍𝒍 𝒂𝒕 𝑶𝒏𝒄𝒆
This is perhaps number one for many and I would have loved it for the symbolism and action it handles but all the spectacle that happens on screen leaves one a little weirded out. However, I think that's the charm of the film. And I'm glad to have lived the experience.

5.𝑻𝒉𝒆 𝑼𝒏𝒃𝒆𝒂𝒓𝒂𝒃𝒍𝒆 𝑾𝒆𝒊𝒈𝒉𝒕 𝒐𝒇 𝑴𝒂𝒔𝒔𝒊𝒗𝒆 𝑻𝒂𝒍𝒆𝒏𝒕
Could this be the rebirth of Nick Cage's career? I hope so because he was already missed.
The funniest movie I saw all year and he and Pedrito Pascal are a great dynamic duo.

4. 𝑻𝒉𝒆 𝑩𝒂𝒕𝒎𝒂𝒏
Battinson has earned my respect. He manages to bring out the detective side of batman that was missing in the movies. Excellent cinematography and a soundtrack almost as good as Elfman and Zimmer.
I look forward to seeing more of this batman.

3. 𝑮𝒖𝒊𝒍𝒍𝒆𝒓𝒎𝒐 𝒅𝒆𝒍 𝑻𝒐𝒓𝒐❜𝒔 𝑷𝒊𝒏𝒐𝒄𝒄𝒉𝒊𝒐
Memo del Toro manages to capture his vision of Pinocchio quite well as well as the Walt Disney version.
Dark and dramatic but also lighthearted and optimistic with characters that will steal your heart.
And the animation goes without saying. I hope it wins the Oscar.

2.𝑻𝒉𝒆 𝑵𝒐𝒓𝒕𝒉𝒎𝒂𝒏
Wild, dark but elegant is this interpretation of Hamlet with Vikings and Alexander Skarsgård manages to lift the weight of this film. A true visual beauty masterpiece

1. 𝑻𝒐𝒑 𝑮𝒖𝒏: 𝑴𝒂𝒗𝒆𝒓𝒊𝒄𝒌
The surprise of the year and well deserved success.
The definition of epicness. It has action, suspense, drama, fun and Tom Cruise who manages to fly high.
One of the best blockbuster sequel since Mad Max: Fury Road and The Dark Knight.
