I loved his youthful, child-like enthusiasm. It was contagious and invigorating. And, despite his child-like manner, he had such profound moments of deep and passionate wisdom. He had seen the universe, but still wondered at its marvels; great and small. I am enjoying the very different take on the Doctor's character portrayed by Capraldi, but I still miss Smith.
