I reuploaded this edited version since the comments/crits were relative to that one. So heres a new start.22 hours in photoshop CS5...
the longest time i spent on a painting, and I wish I could have spent 22 more, but I have no time for it any longer.
At the request of the client I added some coverage to the nipplage. I didnt realize this was for an actual cover when I painted it initially. I just thought it was for some illustration. Now They are both "fantasy accessorized", both in some longer fabric to make it feel more regal.

Something was throwing me off on this piece. It's the perspective on the shadows that effect the composition. Notice where the shadows are cast for the man, and notice where the direction of the shadows are cast for the background pillars between the man and the woman? There's a contradiction disrupting the flow of the image. Also with that amount of blow out of lighting in the background, those cast shadows for the pillars on the floor would be softer. Right now they are too harsh for the level of light exposure.
