Something I was working on in the fall, it's a demon that sucks blood out of you!It's my own concept, mostly just for my portfolio. Painted in photoshop

Pretty interesting concept, and you know what's funny? This creature is actually existent in the folklore of the Philippines, called Aswang, though mostly depicted as a woman, it was said to drink the blood, internal organs and unborn human fetuses through a tube.
It is an intersting concept to combine Spanish conquest of S. America and the myth of Chupacabra.

Your attention to detail is oustanding. I can even see the shadow of his leg behind the translucent tube of blood.

This is what a real demon should look like. All I have to do is imagine how strong that grip is, how defenseless the knight feels and suddenly this artwork gives me chills like nothing else.

I just started my Graphic Design program and I have a question. I',m able to download Photoshop, and all the other fancy artistic stuff for free. how are you able to paint such an amazing piece of work? Do you use a tablet or directly from the the computer. I have a dragon on my page that I would love to digitally remaster. Would you mind doing it then giving me some pointers?
