Description
This is one thing I did in the fall for my sci fi illustration class, it may look finished but this is actually still a work in progress. I'm planning on redoing everything except the dragon, putting him in a different setting, adding other characters, etc. Just wanted to post this for now but expect an update at some point. This reminds me so much of the start in skyrim, when you have to jump down from the tower to the roof of another house.

love the dragon. I've always preferred dragons that have four limbs rather than six.

for limbed are known as wyverns so thos infact is not a dragon..

Interesting, I think I like them better because the resemblance to actual animals lends more realism. Due to the fact that no vertebrate extant or extinct, has six limbs. Also vampire bats ambulate in a similar manner as the beast in this drawing, when crawling on the ground, using their wings folded up as forelimbs.

I am in awe of the details on the ridgy scales along the lower neck. It gives it an air of authenticity, as if you were photographing this scene but still retains the majesty and grandiose size that belongs to dragons alone... real peril and savage beauty. Well done, well done!!
