I never did own a Nintendo growing up, but I've been a fan of Mario since i was just a wee tot- jumping at any chance to play the games at friends and cousins houses (always, always in musty basements. Even now, when I go into a cool basement, I think of gaming with friends)

I'm building my next graphic novel in this style of art "Isometric Grid", used a lot for retro games. I use Adobe Illustrator for my art, so it makes it easy to re-use assets over and over again. Isometric art + vector = very efficient work process

The printed poster comes with a "Find it" sheet, so you can have a scavenger hunt! Just in time for the Toronto Fan expo next week Hope to see some of you there!
