:AVALANCHE ARCHIVES: Project: Strife
Whats is known:
Shortly following the latest attacks on Midgar, massive funds and resources have been pooled into a secret Shinra project. details are scarce, but the main aim of the project seems to be effective defence from what remains of the "Jenova experiments"
• Built from recovered fragments of "Weapons" mecha.
• Powered experimental type of Mako/Materia core.
• The Buster Sword has been designed to controllably shatter on command, and reassemble. It also seems capable of reforming in various configurations, depending on the situation. It has even been seen splitting into as many as 4 completely separate swords
• Parts of the blueprints have been recovered, a large amount of initial influence was drawn from some mako test subject from the town of "Nibelheim"
• Project Strife was not the first, or the last mech of this type constructed by Shinra... more to continue.
• It is unknown what purpose the spike apparitions on the head serve...

Oh this is awesome! I love the use of blue for Project Strife, I normally associate Cloud Strife with Reds or even Grays, blue is a nice touch

Dang! Now that 'Hair' is a lethal weapon. You could impale Sephiroth with that thing to get him back for "spoiler" What comes around goes around as they say.

This is so awesome! I've always been a huge fan of cloud Strife since Final Fantasy VII / FFVII first came out back then. The poster alone was enough to blow me away, let alone the game. I still love that Organic sword and Comet materia, too.

This reminds me about Cloud from FF7.
But this is a mecha version.

When enough kinetic energy is harvested due to the damage inflicted on the mecha, it is then able to use it to deliver "limit break" blows
Love this mech, love it all, a real wonderful wonder ! Loving it, can't wait for Squall Leonheart, or Tifa, or Vincent Valentine, or Sephiroth, or Aeris,
or, my favorite : Red XIII !!!! A kitten AND a mecha, how awesome can it get ?

The spike apparitions are clearly anti-gravity defying elements that enable the body to move ridiculously fast and do impossible jumps. Attributes that compensate the lack of flight present in other models such as "Project: One-Winged Angel"

Seriously though, my antipathy towards FF notwithstanding, this is a cool pic and makes me interested in seeing what you can do with Sephiroth.
