Fullmetal was one of my very fist big anime binges. A neighbour down the hall in res lent me all the dvds, and I quickly devoured em.Β Was a big fan of the series (and brotherhood too), and have been meaning to do a piece based of the series for a long time now, but I find that the more you like a series, the harder it is to make art for it.
This piece will make it's debut at the Vancouver AnimeRevo con (Aug 14-16th) Be sure to drop by the booth if your there!Β

This is the best fan after I've ever seen for this series! Most fan arts of this are reds and yellows and have Ed and Al and love like an action comic, but this shows the darkness and sadness that the series of really about! Love it!

Honestly, although I'm a literary artist, i can understand this. I write fanfiction all the time for fun, but I just can't touch the series that I love to the very core like Star Wars and whatnot, I just can't bring myself to try and do what I feel would be a butchery of something so amazing.
But sir. I must stress, that this is one of the coolest Alphonse works I've ever seen, and considering Alphonse is my favorite character from the series, that's a lot since I've seen plenty excellent works.
