Uhhh, this writing is NOT EDITED, so yeah. I do plan to post an edited version of this soon actually. So don't worry, if this doesn't look like my usual writing style, it's because I'm literally going off the top of my head. Not really putting too much thought.
I've made some changes to her design but she's still the stinky magical fisherman we all know and love. For the some of you who don't know her, she's a french fisherman who was raised by her father. Her mother had passed away when she was born.
Not having a mother figure in her life and only being surrounded by fisherman and sailours, she picked up their ways. Most of them only spoke French so her fluent language is French.
The only things she knows of her mother was from all the miraculous stories that her father tells her and from a small tattered picture. Nothing else.
Bailey struggled to make friends in public schools since she was very loud, moved around a LOT, spoke her mind a lot of the times and everyone thought she had a disease because of her freckles. (She's covered in freckles.) She wasn't used to the school setting since most of her life, she was surrounded by loud sailours who spoke their mind. Also, the fact that she had powers and no one else didn't, made it worse for her as kids would call her witch. Elementary kids are p mean ngl.
Her father noticed that she was being constantly bullied so he took her out of school and homeschooled her. Of course, he struggled to teach her English but eventually, she picked it up when she turned 13.
As time progresses, when Bailey turned 17, (She's emancipated) she soon ventures out and moves into a small place with her best friend/roommate Holloway. (Holloway belongs to Indevanox ) Everything seemed to fall into place until one day, she decided to go food shopping. Of course, she always went food shopping but that day was extremely different.
As she headed to the store, she doesn't drive; she usually walks to places, she bumps into this ethereal girl. Bailey's face smashes against her chest and it seriously sends her into this whirlwind of embarrassment and extreme flusteredness (not a word lmao I know).
Of course, when she's extremely nervous, she can't think in English. As she stammers inaudible speech, instead of saying sorry, she said, "You have nice boobs." Of course, she felt immediate regret. She KNEW she had fucked up as she felt a sharp slap across her face.
Little did she know, that the slap was going to be the spark to her very happy and warm relationship.
